Amy & Sean’s wedding day didn’t turn out exactly how they had planned it. On May 4th- Jacksonville saw the biggest rain storm of 2013, to date. It wasn’t one of those days where it rains a little and then passes- the entire day it torrentially down poured. However, the rain didn’t stop Amy & Sean from having the most amazing day, and most importantly- on becoming ONE. As you scroll through all the beautiful images from this day, there are a few extra special details that Amy put so much time and thought into as she planned her wedding. Amy wore her mother’s veil as her “something old”, it was made by her grandmother. Her GORGEOUS bouquet (Thank you Rose of Sharon!) was wrapped beautifully in her mother’s wedding dress, that was also handmade by her grandmother. Her something borrowed was her deceased grandmother’s wedding ring. And finally Amy had requested a very special picture in remembrance of her little sister who has passed away… & it still moves me to tears nearly every time I look at it. It was an honor to be a part of capturing such precious memories for Amy and her family, and I couldn’t be happier for the bride and groom. They are truly wonderful people, and I am excited and happy for them as they start this brand new chapter in their lives. Amy, it was a pleasure being your photographer- and more importantly becoming your friend. :)<\/p>\n
